Feelings that cluster around the dark are most keenly felt as night approaches. Twilight is the magic hour, the blue hour, the welcoming shade. Alaska has twilight all night seasonally, which gives new and extra meaning to twilight and experience. These photographs represent freedom from daytime tasks and thoughts about the quantity and quality of shadows.
