These photographs welcome night and lift its cloak for secrecy. The principle
of contrast, chiaroscuro, is implicit in our perception of night. It is
in this sequence that the subtle knowledge of outline is revealed. Night
is full of contradictions and ambiguities. Movement is used in this series
to show that night does not rest.
