Ferry, Alaska is a remote community located 12 miles north of Denali National Park. It is only accessible by car in the winter, when residents can drive over the frozen Nenana River. These are just a handful of photographs from a year long documentary project. You can see the complete story by Deborah McKinney on the Anchorage Daily News website, search Ferry in the archives.
